The Vidiyal Trust - Who are we?

The Vidiyal Trust has been working with slum communities in Southern India for over 30 years. We have registered our trust in India as well as the UK.
 
Our work involves:
 
In Tamil Nadu
  • We have a residential complex for street elders.
  • Support a slum community with a tuition centre for over 100 children.
  • Supply daily lunch to 52 elders.
  • Under licence work with a local hospital supporting poor children with cancer.
  • Support a small leprosy colony.
In Kerala
  • We have our own education/residential complex.
  • Support self help groups for local women.
  • Have continuing medical initiatives for children with cancer.
